Students enrolled in SAI programs from affiliated universities will receive US credit for courses from their home university, and should request copies of their transcripts from their home university's Study Abroad or Registrar's Office. This process can take up to 8 weeks.

Students attending the SAI Rome program at John Cabot University (JCU) will receive US credit directly from JCU, since JCU is a US accredited university.

All SAI students enrolling from non-affiliated universities will receive US course credit from Fairfield University in Connecticut. Study Abroad Italy will automatically process non-affiliate students through Fairfield University with no additional fee.

Students from non-affiliate schools will need to request their transcripts directly from Fairfield University. A $4 fee is charged for each transcript requested. This process can take up to 8 weeks. The form may be printed from your computer at http://www.fairfield.edu/reg_transcript.html

Please note: once a term ends it may take up to 8 weeks for grades to be recorded at Fairfield and for a transcript to be issued. However, you may send your request at any time.

If a student is required to enroll through a US university in order to receive US credits and be eligible for student loans, he/she may enroll through Fairfield University, in Connecticut. As Fairfield University's Western Regional Office for International Studies, the Study Abroad Italy Office in California processes all Fairfield/DA applications.
