Master in Fashion Design
The Domus Academy Master in Fashion Design (\11 month program) proposes an integrated approach between creative, cultural, productive marketing and communication aspects, contributing to the development of professionals able to successfully express their creativity and to effectively face the evolutionary challenges of the fashion world.

Program Philosophy: The approach of Domus Academy’s Master in Fashion Design is to integrate the creative and cultural aspects of fashion design with the world of marketing and communication. Students learn through constant dialogues with professionals in the field; in fact, one of the most valuable aspects of the program is the collaboration with all members of the design world, from journalists to agents to buyers to public relations companies to designers themselves. By the end of the program, students will have developed the ability to express their own creative ideas successfully even as the continuously evolving fashion market presents them with constant challenges.

Program Structure: Students attend a series of seminars during the year-long program; the themes of the seminars change every year, along with fashion itself. During the first months of the program, students receive a concrete introduction to the Sistema moda italiana, the Italian fashion system. Professionals active in the field coordinate seminars and workshops on various topics; those topics are then analyzed keeping in mind the psychology of fashion, anthropology, socio-economic forecasting, marketing and management, and contemporary art. In March, students begin to attend seminars given by specific companies and designers. During these seminars students are expected not only to develop design projects but to articulate an entire design process.
